Patch notes Update 49.0.2

Manes & Tails update

We've received a ton of feedback about the new shorter manes and tails style, and how players were missing that sporty vibe. So, in response to all your input, we've brushed out the short manes & tails style to give it back that sporty look you've been asking for!

The majority of the feedback was also about the new hairstyles being a bit too "shiny". Currently, the horse hair shaders are affected by the light, giving it that glossy appearance and affecting the color. We're still working on fixing this issue and we hope to be able to release this soon.

Competition rewards

With the latest economy changes we received some concerns about not being able to progress as easy in the beginning of the game. Multiple community members introduced the idea to get a bigger e-cash reward from competing. Which we thought was a very good idea so we have increased the competition rewards to the following:

Monetisation update:

On the 18th of March we’ve published this video explaining that we need to improve our monetisation model in order to keep on developing ETG. This update contains the first changes.

Keep in mind that we'll keep a close watch on how these changes impacts our players and if we would need to make adjusements. For example, if we see it results in players missing out on exciting gameplay.

Breeding Bundles

Are you constantly creating horses for your breeding projects? Well, we're introducing breeder's packs tailored for all you enthusiastic breeders out there! Each bundle is carefully crafted, providing you with essential resources to fuel your breeding projects.

In each bundle, you'll find at least several 'create a horse' tickets and e-cash, all bundled together for maximum value. By opting for these bundles, you'll enjoy significant savings compared to creating horses individually.

Upgrading buildings

We're implementing a change where certain building upgrades, such as the stables and the breeding facility, will now require coins. To start off, you can use in-game cash to unlock the first two levels of the stables and the first level of the breeding facility. After that, you'll need to use coins to get further upgrades.

Horse trailer

In the horse trailer, you'll now find horses available for purchase with coins, in addition to those for e-cash. The prices of these horses will depend on factors like the rarity of their coats and their breeds.

Silo Carrots

We're introducing a limit on the number of carrots your silo can store. Once you hit that limit, the silo will stop producing carrots. However, if you choose to purchase more carrots, they'll be added on top of the maximum silo capacity.

For example, let's say the maximum limit is 170 carrots, and you decide to purchase 60 more. Your total carrot count would then be 170 + 60, totaling 230 carrots.

It's important to note that this limit varies depending on the level of your silo, and you won't lose any carrots currently in your account. Additionally, if you spend carrots, the silo will resume its production as usual.
